Worth in Jesus. Strength in Numbers.
Throughout this school year, the topic of worth has come up several times. It’s been woven through the majority of my lessons during Wednesday night youth group. Kalkaska Fellowship of Christian Athletes
I am excited to share something exciting and new that has come to Kalkaska High school! Myself and Mike Ponstein have started an FCA group for high school athletes. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is an international organization in almost twenty thousand different schools (Middle School through College),and 114 countries. All it Needs is a Little Miracle-Gro!
We all know what Miracle-Gro is. You use it in your veggie garden, flower garden and even your lawn to get bigger and better plants. Parents of Youth
I see youth (and their families) devoting countless hours, days, and seasons to sports and other team activities. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think a ton of positives can come from those sorts of team commitments. BUT…I ask you… are you still prioritizing Jesus (above those commitments) or are you squeezing Him into your crunched schedule? Maybe you’re not spending any time with Him at all. July 4th is coming up and we all know what that means, right? American flags will come out of the closet. Churches will gear up for their independence day services. Summer is here!! Or is it? Several weeks ago, we had a few days in the 90’s and it felt like summer was FINALLY here. Then, the temperature dropped ,and we had to turn our heat back on.
