It’s been a long winter, and I think I speak for most of you when I say WE ARE SICK OF IT! We are ready for it to leave for good. Unfortunately we all know it will be back again next year. Stay with me before you step into a dark and dismal depression; next winter may not be as bad, but It will be back nonetheless.
Just like winter, we will experience various highs and lows along our spiritual walk with Jesus. There will be struggles that come our way. Some are harder than others; but the one thing we know for sure is that they will come. There is hope though. There is a promise we can always hold on to. Because of Jesus we have something bright to look forward to when those struggles come. When winter is here, whether it’s really bad or just mild, we know that Spring is coming… Summer is coming. During our hard times we know that Jesus is with us through it all. We also know that heaven is coming. One day it will no longer be winter EVER AGAIN (sorry to those who actually like winter). One day the hard times will end. The pain, the suffering, the struggle will all be over. Our spring break will come and never end!
This week starts spring break for most people. Whether you are going somewhere warm and sunny or you are staying home. Spring break will be over before you know it. But don’t worry! Our eternal spring break is just around the corner. Until then, enjoy your break while it lasts!
