Into: Let’s take a walk
- Walking in a new life means we have buried the old one. (V. 1-4)
- Christ died, putting sin away from us.
- Don’t put something old on something new (Matthew 9:16-17)
- If you say you are a Lions fan, then prove it.
- Walking with Jesus means that death no longer is in control. (V. 5-11)
- Dead to sin (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)
- Let all malice be put away (Eph. 4:31)
- Walking in righteousness means we give God our whole self. (V. 12-14)
- Being right before God
- The fruit that reveals who we serve (Gal. 5:19-24)
- Walking through life we reveal who or what we are slaves to. (v. 15-19)
- This slavery is being bonded to God
- David counting his fighting men (2 Samuel 24)
- Walking as slaves to God leads to purity and eternal life. (V. 20-23)
- Sanctification is being consecrated or made pure before God (2 Tim. 2:21)
- We are sanctified by God’s Word (John 17:17)
