Sermons on Body of Christ

Broken to Beautiful

Have mercy on me, O God,    according to your unfailing love;according to your great compassion    blot out my transgressions.2 Wash away all my iniquity    and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I know my transgressions,    and my sin is always before me.4 Against you, you only, have I sinned    and done what is evil in your sight;so you are right in your verdict    and justified when you judge.5 Surely I was sinful at birth,    sinful from the time my mother conceived me.6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;    you taught me wisdom in that secret place. Focus the Body

The body of the church is made up of many members but together we make up the whole.  It’s a difficult project that could leave us with blisters and sore, but it will be so worth it. What we do as a church body will have an eternal impact. Have you found your PART in our body yet?

Prepare the Body

1 Corinthians 12:1-11 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.  How do we build our body up in order to win the prize?  How do we train our body in such a way to handle the race?  Have you visualized the finish line? Successful preparation requires acknowledgment – the illustration would be that in bodybuilding or getting in shape we need to acknowledge where we are, where we’ve been, and where we want to go as far as our health, weight, condition, etc. I How COVID has affected us

The Bride of Christ

Sermon notes can be found on kccwired.com. Feel free to make comments too. Why does the church look and sound more like the world? WHEN DO PEOPLE RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT? IF IT’S WHEN YOU’RE BAPTIZED, WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN ACTS THAT HAD BEEN BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS, BUT DIDN’T RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT UNTIL THE APOSTLES LAID HANDS ON THEM? Why is the church so judgmental?
