Visibly Victorious
Matthew 25:31-46 Big Idea: The results Jesus expects of us are clear V. 31-33 The King decides and divides V. 34-40 The sheep humbly helped the hurting V. 41-46 The goats independently indulged in serving themselves Set your gaze on the goal of living for Jesus. Expect He will put in your path those you need to help. Enter into every situation with faith and fully surrendered. Faith gives us the vision to see the works God has prepared for How COVID has affected us
Be 2-5
Readiness comes with a responsibility to be active in our faith. The Master trusted us with work while we wait. The Master returned and expected an accounting of our action. The Master was pleased with the profitability. The Master was mad at the misconception How do we ACT on this? Acknowledge the gift Create opportunities Trust that God will make it profitable Knowing the Master is the motivating factor.
To Be Known
Scripture: Matthew 25:1-13 Big Idea: God welcomes those whom He knows. Being known by God is to be a prepared, invited guest of the wedding. Readiness is being known. The virgins’ invitation was to be light. Foolishness was not knowing light takes fuel. Invited guests will be known by their light. The path to the eternal Kingdom of God should be fueled by the Kingdom of God alive in us now.
The High Cost of Hope

The wise men’s hearts were overshadowed by worship. Are they magi? (Daniel 1:20, 2:5, 2:24) Are they wise men? (1 Kings 10:7,9-10) Are they kings? (Isaiah 39:6, 60:10) Herod’s heart was overshadowed by worry and fear. King of the Jews? Builder and baby killer? (Matthew 2:16) The Priests and Scribes’ hearts were overshadowed by confusion.
