The God’s Child Project
“The God’s Child Project” (GCP) is an award-winning non-denominational organization that provides essential educational, healthcare, housing, and sustainable development opportunities to children and families in intense poverty in Guatemala, India, and the United States.
The Guatemalan charity, Asociación Nuestros Ahijados (ANA), was founded in 1991 by God’s Child Project Patrick Atkinson. Since 1991, and with God’s Child Project support, ANA has grown from humble beginnings in a borrowed farmhouse to currently serving an estimated 4,000 orphaned and impoverished children, and 7,000 widowed, abandoned, and single mothers and their dependents across Guatemala.
Opportunities Available
- Building a home
- Working at Casa Jackson’s Hospital for malnourished children
- Working at the school for children
- Much more

Our hope is that everyone will be able to take advantage of two of the above opportunities, as well as work at the feeding center (awesome experience).
