CIY Believe by Jody Terrell Two weeks ago a group of Middle School students and adults from KCC traveled down to Hope College in Holland, MI for the CIY Believe conference. This is a 24 hour conference jam-packed with singing praises to God led by a high energy worship band, sermons by Kurt Johnston, the youth minister at Saddleback Church, and author of many books on youth ministry, and illusions mixed with Biblical truths performed by Brock Gill. Love Offering Exceeds Expectations!

An unannounced love offering taken up Sunday morning at KCC exceeded the amount needed to send Nathan & Cassie Cummings to the Dominican Republic with Casas Por Cristo (Houses for Christ)! $2,2683.10 was given towards the couples mission costs. Skeet Shoot sees over 70 Men & Boys in Attendance

The annual Men & Boys Breakfast and Skeet shoot saw record attendance with over 70 coming to the event. The event, which is in it’s 15th year, was hosted by Dean Farrier, Men’s Ministry Leader. Breakfast was made at the church building by Brett Gallagher and his crew. Training for the shoot was conducted by Kevin Davis.

Mission Trip to Jesus’ Place in Atlanta, GA.

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to lead a mission trip to Atlanta, Georgia. Jana Dickman and myself took 9 high school students to Jesus’ Place, an inner city mission that provides spiritual and physical needs to needy families in their community. On Easter Sunday we attended services at Jesus’ Place and were able to meet some of the congregation which is made up of mostly needy men. A Letter from H.O.P.E. Mission (Badgeros) in Haiti

Jeff is doing a great job getting the plane repaired and teaching. The taxiway for the airport in Gonaives is also moving forward. The owner of the airport, Michal, found us a room above an orphanage by the airport to stay in for the rest of our stay here. What a blessing to be settled! Making a Murder

Edgy Sermon Series

Sunday, February 28th, KCC launched a new sermon series entitled “Making a Murder.” The title is a play off the very popular Netflix drama “Making a Murderer.” Jesus dying on the cross is not often thought of as a murder. A sacrifice. A death. But not a murder. Yet it was. The sermon series will explore the motive, plot, setting of the murder. As well as the suspects, the weapons, and the conclusion of the event. Restore Me Ministry Launches Website

Former Senior Minister, Dan Johnson, along with wife, Sherry, are pleased to announce the launch of their new website, Restore Me! Restore Me Ministry was started in 2015 by Dan and Sherry Johnson. The Johnsons have served in local church ministry for over 40 years. Upon retiring in 2015, Dan and Sherry found they still had a heart for the Church and its ministers. Dad Baptizes Son at KCC

Aaron Schwager was baptized this morning at KCC by his Dad, Ed Schwager. Aaron’s mom, Trista, and grandmother, Kim Brock, looked on as Aaron gave his confession of faith to Senior Minister, Andy Bratton. Afterwards, Ed baptized his son into Jesus Christ at the end of Sunday morning’s 11:00 am worship service.

Church Celebrates “Christ Inspired” year
