Meet the Summer Interns

Jordan Harrison – Youth Ministry Intern
Jordan grew up in the church where his father Micheal, was the minister and mother Karyn, was the worship minister. Jordan believed he was meant to join the military but God had chosen another path for him. He enrolled at Great Lakes Christian College in the spring of 2016. Jordan started taking his faith seriously after being stuck in a bus for nine hours with his GLCC professor and church elder, John Nugent. Following a lengthy discussion about evangelism verses college admissions work, Jordan began to pursue full-time local church ministry.

Jordan is the youngest of four and considers himself to be the best looking as well. He met his fiancé in the spring of 2016 while duel enrolling as a senior in High School.

Jordan enjoys taking time to be in God’s beautiful creation. He takes every opportunity to go on hikes and to go for walks on trails at KCC.

Jordan received his Associates of Arts from Great Lakes Christian College.

Adam Trabold – Communications Intern
Adam has been involved with the church for as long as he can remember. After moving to Kalkaska in 2007, he began to wonder deeper about the church and what it means to be a Christian. His father, Jeffrey Trabold, led him in a baptism study plan over the span of a year while sitting at his work in the Grayling Air Control tower. Adam was baptized on July 4, 2010.
