Sermon Big Idea: The Mind of Christ is a way of thinking, that leads to a way of acting each and every day. It guides each and every thought, decision, and action. 

1 Corinthians 2:1-16

1. The Mind of Christ is backwards
   1. He who loses his life will find it – Matthew 10:38-39
   2. The least will be greatest – Mark 9:33-37
   3. The last will be first – Matthew 20:16
   4. God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise – 1 Corinthians 1:27-28
2. The Mind of Christ is humble
   1. The humility of Christ is seen in the cross – Philippians 2:1-8
   2. Take up your cross and follow Christ – Luke 9:23; Matthew 10:38
      1. Facing only one direction
      2. He’s not going back.
      3. They have no plans of their own.
3. The Mind of Christ is characterized by love
   1. Love those different than you – Matthew 5:43-47
   2. Love one another for love comes from God – 1 John 4:7-12
