Sermon Big Idea: To understand God’s will we need to be in the right state of mind.  There are two states.  One is the world’s and the other is that of Jesus.

1. To look like the world is to look at me.

   3. 1 John 2:16, Pride and Desire
2. A transformed life looks like Jesus.
   1. 1 Peter 2:21, walk
   2. Epesians 5:1-2, imitate
   3. Luke 6:40, like Him
   4. Galatians 2:20, Christ in me
3. An aligned will brings clarity and confidence.
   1. John 6:40 – Salvation
   2. Proverbs 3:5-6 – straight paths
   3. John 3:30 – a life promoting Jesus
