Grace has a name!

We celebrate new life in Jesus Christ at KCC! Grace Paulus was baptized by her father, Vince Paulus,  on Sunday, July 12th during the 11:00 worship service. The Bible says that, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:17 Grace found God’s grace through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Chris, her Lord!

Welcoming Young and Old!

Last Sunday morning she showed up with her bathing suit and a towel. She said, “I want to be baptized today!” Kiara Bordine may be young in age, but she is wise in Spiritual matters! When children’s minister, Sara Blasko, asked her how she came to the decision to be baptized, Kiara replied, “I’ve been reading the Bible every morning and it said I should get baptized!” Kiara had been reading her Bible with Laurie Vanednbosch and studying with her How COVID has affected us

A Brother’s Persuasion

The wedding was planned. The invitations sent out. Yet there was still something missing in the bride-to-be’s life. The groom’s brother decided it was time he confronted the bride. If she was going to be part of THIS family, he wanted her to be equally yoked to his brother! So after Nathan shared his concern, Janell Gustafson was was persuaded to completely obey Christ by being baptized and giving herself fully to Jesus, her Lord. Janell was baptized Sunday, May How COVID has affected us

Act II – Wife follows Husband’s decision

Saul, later named Paul, by Jesus Christ, writes in 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” Paul didn’t always follow the example of Jesus. So it was after his decision to be a Christian that he penned these words. Every Christian should be living in such a way to be able to tell others, “follow me as I follow Jesus!” Holly Curtis’ husband, Ben, had decided just one week earlier, that it was time for How COVID has affected us

Graduation Sunday

KCC honored all those graduating from High School and College Sunday. Jody Terrell introduced those graduates who were present in worship and encouraged them for their futures.

Staying in the Light!

Benjamin Curtis was baptized at KCC Sunday morning, May 10th! His comments were to not only “step into the light” but to “stay in the light.” Praise the Lord for Ben’s decision to surrender his life entirely to the Lordship of Jesus Christ!
