Help local students start the school year with confidence!
Throughout the month of July, Kalkaska Church of Christ is partnering with Father Fred Foundation to collect basic school supplies for area children and families. Donations can be placed in the collection area located in the church lobby.
In addition to donating supplies, you can make a difference by volunteering at the Back-to-School Event on Wednesday, August 5, at Kalkaska Middle School. Volunteers are needed to help distribute supplies and serve local families.
Families who need assistance are encouraged to register their children by July 27. Eligible children will receive:
- New school shoes
- Socks
- School supplies
- Free vision screenings
This outreach is a wonderful opportunity to bless children in our community as they prepare for a new school year.
How You Can Help
- Bring basic school supplies to the church lobby throughout July.
- Volunteer at the August 5 Back-to-School Event.
- If your family needs assistance, register your children by July 27.
Parents can register their children through Father Fred’s Back-to-School Shoes Program.
