Worship

Hey there, fellow worshippers!

As we go head-first through another busy week, I’ve been thinking a lot about what it truly means to worship. We gather on Sundays, lift our voices, and offer our prayers – and that’s beautiful! But what if worship wasn’t just something we do on Sunday mornings? What if it was a way we live every single day?

The Bible tells us in Romans 12:1, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Paul isn’t just talking about singing hymns; he’s talking about our whole lives being an act of devotion.

What does that look like practically? It could be the way we show kindness to our neighbors, the integrity we bring to our work, the patience we extend to our families, or even the gratitude we express for the simple blessings around us here in Michigan. When we approach each day with a heart that seeks to honor God in all we do, that’s when worship truly becomes a lifestyle.

Colossians 3:17 reminds us, “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Every task, big or small, can be an opportunity to give glory to God.

So, this week, as we navigate our daily routines, let’s intentionally look for ways to make worship more than just a Sunday event. Let’s strive to live lives that are a constant offering of praise and honor to the One who has given us everything.

Blessings to you all!
