A New Thing

Sermon Big Idea:  Death of a Christian brings about a new thing.  People who surrender to Jesus become new things.  God has new things in mind for 2021.

1. We have family members with new homes 2 Corinthians 5:8
   1. Where do we go for hope?  1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
   2. Where do we go from here?  Exodus 33:12-14 (NLT)
2. We gained a new brother and sister
   1. A family member – John 1:12
   2. A saved person – John 3:16
   3. A justified person – Romans 5:9
   4. A new person – Romans 6:4
3. Reset
   1. The new thing – Isaiah 43:16-19
