Annie Ponstein participated in a 9-month gap year program with Bridge Street Ministries (44:32), an organization based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that focuses on urban youth ministry (45:32). As part of this year-long experience, she and her team traveled to Guatemala for two months (48:40), where they served in the following ways: Annie described her overall experience as one rooted in intentional community living and silent servitude (47:03, 49:06). FAME – Medical Evangelism

Bill Warren of FAME Bill is the Executive Director of FAME, and Kelly serves alongside him in many ways, such as serving on short-term mission trips. Kelly is a local girl, who grew up here in Kalkaska, the daughter of Mike and Terry Steere. FAME exists to be a global leader in evangelism through healthcare. They do this through short-term mission trips, providing areas in need with medical supplies and equipment, or through donations to support healthcare projects.
