A New School Year: A New Opportunity to Seek Truth
There’s something exciting about the beginning of a new school year. New classes, new teachers, new opportunities, and a fresh start are all around us. But even more exciting than what a new school year can bring academically is the opportunity we have to grow spiritually.

I’m looking forward to diving deeper into God’s Word and sharing His truth with the youth this school year. This isn’t just a season for our youth. A new school year is a great reminder for all of us, no matter our age, to dive deeper into God’s Word, and seek to find His truth. Whether you’re heading back to school, going back to work, raising a family, or simply entering another season of life, there is always more to discover about who God is and what He has called us to be.
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 3:13–14
My hope and prayer for this year is that we would be a people who continually seek Him, hunger for His Word, and allow His truth to transform our lives. I hope you’re all as excited for this school year as I am!
If you have or know of any youth in grades 6-12, send them to the lower level of KCC for our Back-2-School-Bash next Wednesday at 7:00pm!
