Nehemiah 2:1-2

1. Listen to the Lord
   1. Prayed 4 months
   2. Kept serving faithfully
   3. The Lord’s answers may change your countenance
   4. We are not immune to fear when carrying out God’s plans

2:3-6

2. Engage with a plan
   1. Understand the challenge/opportunity
   2. Immerse the plans and each step in prayer
   3. Call out the ultimate goal
   4. Know the time frame

2:7-9

3. Ask for participation
   1. Know what materials/resources you need
   2. Give credit where it is due

2:10

4. Deal with adversity
   1. Anticipate problems
