Fuel the Body

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 If my PART is not fueled by love … I am noise (v. 1) I am nothing (v. 2) I gain nothing (v. 3) Love is the perfect fuel for all PART’s Embraces time (v. 4) Elevates others (v. 4-5) Encompasses faith and hope (v. 7) Fueling with love leads to a church that is consistently “full.” Incomplete things are temporary (v. 8-10) Immature faith is meant to be temporary (v. 11-12) Because love fueled the cross How COVID has affected us

Focus the Body

The body of the church is made up of many members but together we make up the whole.  It’s a difficult project that could leave us with blisters and sore, but it will be so worth it. What we do as a church body will have an eternal impact. Have you found your PART in our body yet?

From Simon to Peter

You can’t hide and heal at the same time. Name Change = Simon meaning reed to Peter meaning rock Jesus wants to overcome our fear with faith Many times, our failures want to displace our faith Jesus shows up to offer forgiveness after failure Peter learned that faith would allow for him to overcome his fear and failures so that he could experience freedom What is a part of your 10% that you hold back from God? My fourth of five: ________

“Dude, you did what?”

Paul walked into a confrontational situation. Paul spoke boldly the truth of Christ. Paul used truth to confuse the confused. Using the confrontational method: Know the Word. Know your audience. Know the power of the Holy Spirit. My third of five: ___________________

The Lover of Horses finds a Winner

Philip had a realistic attitude – John 6:1-7 Philip had a show-me mentality – John 14:8-11 Philip had a quest for knowledge – John 1:43-51 With the words, “Follow me,” Philip started an unlikely journey that would test his faith and ultimately have him praying and believing in the Messiah. – Acts 1:13-14 My first of five:  _____________________

Dreams and Visions

Lee Bracey, Executive Director and Joe Heins, Associate Executive Director, of the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home give Sunday’s message in tandem.

Where I Belong

Philippians 1:1-11 1. When Paul reflected on the church at Philippi it filled him with joy. Acts 16:11-15 2. Lydia was a ray of hope in an otherwise valley of despair. Acts 16:16-24 3. The spread of the gospel comes with resistance. Acts 16:25-34 4. God showed up on behalf of his ready workers. A church to call home is one in which God is reflected, Jesus is remembered, and his people are filled with the fruit of righteousness.

Individual Gears

You are…1 Cor 12:27-31 Together the body of Christ Individually members of the same body Appointed gifts to benefit the same body   Without love, the church is…1 Cor 13 Without purpose Without value Without hope   Position Attributes Responsibilities Time   It’s time to discover your appointed PART, for the sake of the new soul Jesus is leading our way.
