There’s a strange tension that comes with sharing your story, especially the messy parts. Maybe you’ve felt it. That little voice that says, “No one needs to hear this.” Or worse, “If they knew, they’d walk away.”
But the truth is, your story – your testimony – might be the very thing God wants to use to reach someone who’s hanging on by a thread.

“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”
Revelation 12:11 (NIV)
Our testimonies aren’t just backstories. They’re battle cries. Proof that God still rescues, redeems, and rebuilds broken people. When you share what Christ has done in your life — whether it’s dramatic or quiet, public or private — you shine a light that darkness can’t compete with.
“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story — those he redeemed from the hand of the foe…”
Psalm 107:2 (NIV)
You don’t need to have a perfect memory or polished words. You just need to be willing. When we speak honestly about what Jesus has done, it reminds others that He’s still in the business of healing hearts and changing lives.
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have…”
1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
So here’s the challenge: Tell the story anyway.
Even if your voice shakes.
Even if you’re still in the middle of it.
Because someone needs to know that God still saves.
