Baby Shower for Ashley Boger
Darrell & Ashley Boger are expecting their first child in December! The baby shower will be held in the lower level of the church building. Ashley is registered at Babies R Us and Amazon.com.
Pop Tarts & PJ’s
We’re celebrating Daylight Savings at KCC! All kids Kindergarten to 5th grade are invited to wear their PJ’s to church for this special event where they’ll enjoy yummy Pop Tarts!
Youth Sunday
Our annual Youth Sunday will feature 3 young men giving messages. The youth will lead our worship as well as share at communion time.
Community Tree Planting
Village of Kalkaska Tree Planting Event on Saturday, October 21, 2017. We will be meeting at Chalker Park, 200 Laurel Street, at 8:45 AM for sign-ups and light refreshments. At 9:00 AM, ReLeaf Michigan will have a quick presentation on planting and caring for trees. We will then break up into groups and head out to plant trees. Please ensure the following: · Wear closed-toe shoes · Dress for the weather (we will plant rain or shine) · Bring tools from the attached How COVID has affected us

5th Quarters at KCC Games | Food | Fun High School Meet either at the fire pit out back of the building or inside the lower level in case of rain.
Memorial Service for Lloyd Strang
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The Memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. There will be a luncheon provided by the church immediately following the service for everyone in attendance. Arrangements are being handled by the Kalkaska Funeral Home. Lloyd Gene Strang Obituary
2:14 Community Outreach
October Projects Wheelchair Ramp Wheelchair Ramp Wood cutting, splitting, & stacking Each month various service projects will be set up to do in the community. These will range from construction to lawn care to painting. As much as possible, we will try to inform the church what the project entails.
Hayride & Cedar Press
Join us at Wilderness Christian Assembly for our annual hayride around the camp, cider press & pumpkin hunt. Please bring your own apples to be pressed and your own containers. We will also have a pot luck dinner with chili being provided. Please bring a dish to pass. There will also be yard games available.
Ken Ham
Ken Ham, speaker, author, president, founder, & CEO of Answers in Genesis. This is a free event where Ken will be speaking live and taking questions. Plan to meet at KCC at 3:00 pm & eat dinner on the way. More details here
