Roberta Dawn Hall (Hendricks) Woodhams, also lovingly known as Bobbie and Robo by those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Roberta was the only child of Claud Lyle Hall and Nellie Elizabeth (Soper) Hall. She was born at her maternal grandmother’s home on Golden Rd in Orange township, on March 15, 1937. Roberta lived most of her life within a few miles of where she was born. Anyone who had the pleasure of being part of her life knew they were loved and valued by her. Roberta loved her Lord and shared that love with everyone she knew. Roberta is survived by her husband of 23 years, Martin Woodhams, 3 children Dawn (Ken) Hinton, Lisa (David) Hendricks-McConnaghy, Eric (Laura) Hendricks, 3 bonus children, Michelle (Bob) Patton, Mona Kay Woodhams, and Mike (Barb) Woodhams; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and many treasured nieces and nephews. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Nellie Hall, bonus daughter Marcia (Woodhams) Smires, son-in-law Kenneth Hinton, granddaughter Stephanie Spurbeck, and grandson Loren Hazen. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Kalkaska Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 3-4pm. The Celebration of Life will begin at 4pm. Immediately following the celebration there will be a meal in the fellowship area. Family and friends are invited to join the family to share wonderful memories and enjoy each other’s company. Memorial Contributions may be made in Roberta’s honor to any of the following: Hospice of Michigan NW103 Patient Needs Fund, Kalkaska Church of Christ mission fund, and Wilderness Christian Assembly. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
