My family started attending the Kalkaska Church of Christ around 2004 when we were looking for programs that our children could be engaged with. Shortly after that, my wife and I were baptized by Dan Johnson after several discussions. Since that time all three of our children were baptized at Wilderness Camp or at the old church building on Main Street. All of our children are now married and we have seven grandchildren.
I enjoy working with the youth and pretending I am still young and cool, and the kids seem to tolerate me pretty well, most of the time. I am beyond blessed when I think of the many ways God has blessed my whole family through this Church Family. Being able to come to worship each Sunday and be surrounded by great people that I call FRIEND is what fills my cup and keeps me wanting to strive for my best not only for my family but also my Church Family. As God has called us to stand firm in our faith, I pray that I may always do this in a way that brings honor to Christ who saved me.
