Testimony – How I became a Christian

My mother was a strong example of a Christian to me in my youth. I enjoyed church and the people there. When I was 11 years old I remember a singing group called, The Gospel Couriers, came to our church for a week of music and revival. Friday night of that week, I went forward and was baptized at KCC.

Family Life

I was married in September 2000 to Anita Sherman. We had attended Great Lakes Christian College together in 1984 and even though I had a crush on her then, she made me wait 16 years to return my affections! In 2002, we welcomed our son, Scott to the family. Then in 2003, we had Kaylin, making our family complete.

Hobbies

I enjoy learning about technology and playing with the latest gadgets. My dad was always an early adopter so it was fun to see the newest tech toy come out and use it. I’ve enjoyed playing basketball all my life until recently. Now there’s a lot more watching than playing. I have a magic collection in the basement and will pull out a trick from time to time.

Education

I attended Great Lakes Christain College, Northwestern Michigan College, and graduated from Western Michigan University in 2000 with a Computer Information Systems degree.
