Funeral for Jeanne Lantzer
Jeanne Marie Lantzer, 86, of Kalkaska, went to meet Jesus early Wednesday, December 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was born on March 14, 1931, in Garfield Township on the farm, to the late Max and Carrie (Moore) Carlisle. She retired from Kalkaska Public Schools as a librarian. Jeanne loved her family, her church, gardening and books. Patrick “Corky” G. Hubble, 63, of Rapid City, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was born on December 22, 1953 to the late Emery “Don” and Helen (McIntosh) Hubble in Kalkaska, MI. Pat retired from the union as a Millwright Local 1102 after 30 years of hard work. He married the love of his life, Renee Mattiassi on October 16, 2004 and relocated to California for a short time. Ladies Christmas Tea
All is Calm Ladies Christmas Tea This event is for high school age girls and older. Please sign up in the church lobby to either host a table or attend the tea. If you prefer you can call the church office to sign up. As part of the program you will be invited to participate in a love offering to benefit the Kalkaska Baby Pantry. Alternatively, donations for the pantry will also be welcome.
