What
Wanna GO with us on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic? We would love to have you! The Kalkaska Church of Christ is planning to send a team of 10-20 people on a short-term mission trip to Go Ministries fall 2023. No experience is necessary; just a heart to serve Jesus and learn about discipleship!
The team will be serving in two different focus areas of ministry: Church Planting and Go Sports.
Church Planting supports the work of the local pastor and leaders through construction, service projects, children’s ministry, prayer walks, distributing donations, giving away bibles, or any number of encouraging activities that serve the community, draw attention to the local church, and bring glory to God.
The Go Sports team will spend the week with local leaders working in sports ministry in communities around Santiago. They may host a camp or clinic in one of our outreach neighborhoods, or serve alongside coaches, and athletes through community service projects.
When
The dates for the trip are Saturday, October 21 to Saturday, October 28, 2023. The group may leave on Friday, October 20, 2023 to locate closer to the airport (Detroit or Chicago).
