The Michigan Christian Convention will take place Friday and Saturday, April 12 & 13th. The 2019 Convention has decided to tackle the topic of “Justice and the Church”. Within the scope of this theme, we have reached out to two speakers to discuss how the Church can better live out Scripture’s call for how we as Christians should relate to the poor and the mitigated in our society and in the Church. We hope that you’ll join us as we wrestle through Scripture and the implications of this topic.

Prominent speaker, activist, and best-selling author, Shane has worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta, and founded The Simple Way, a church, in Philadelphia. He is author of the classic The Irresistible Revolution, as well as Red Letter Revolution, Common Prayer, Executing Grace, and Beating Guns (forthcoming 2019). Shane speaks regularly challenging us to take the words of Jesus seriously, especially as it relates to peace and justice. We are delighted to have him joining us for our 2019 convention!
