CIY Believe

Believe is a weekend event produced by Christ In Youth, an organization that has been putting together age-intentional events all over the world for almost 50 years (you can check out their website at (ww.ciy.com/believe). This year’s Michigan event, takes place at Hope College, where your child will worship alongside tons of other students their age. It’s literally an experience they’ll get nowhere else. Drive-in Funeral for Karen Hodgman

There will be a drive-in funeral service to celebrate the life of Karen Hodgman on Wednesday, April 8 at 6 PM at the parking lot of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, 1725 W. Kalkaska Rd. The service will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/kccwired. Search for “Kalkaska Church of Christ” on Facebook and “like” the page in preparation for the funeral. Student Sledding Trip

Student Sledding Trip

We will be traveling to Carly’s Hill in Fife Lake on Thursday. Kalkaska Public Schools have a half day and so we realize this trip might not be for all our students.  We will need a medical release filled out by a parent/guardian for every student. Those are available at the church office. Students are invited to meet at the church after school for a pizza lunch and then to travel to Fife Lake to go sledding. KCC Tubing Party

Thursday, Jan 23rd is a half day! We will be picking up the kids from Cherry St. and heading to the church for lunch. We will be leaving the church building at 12:15 and heading to Mt. Holiday in TC. DRESS FOR TUBING! Hats, snow pants, gloves, etc. You must have a waiver filled out from Mt. Holiday to go on this trip. The cost is $8. This trip is for 4th and 5th graders. KCC Annual Meeting 2020

Annual Meeting

The KCC Annual Meeting is held each year on the 3rd Sunday of January. It is a formal meeting for KCC members. We’ll look back over 2019 and forward to 2020. Reports from the major ministries will be made available and the new budget for 2020 will be shared. Everyone is welcome to attend but only members can vote.

Serenity Prayer Vigil

Serenity Prayer Vigil

Join us Monday, December 2nd at 6:30pm as we remember those in and around our community we have lost to substance use, those who are still struggling, and celebrate those in recovery. Take part in an evening made up of an informative presentation and resources, refreshments, live music, and a candle light walk to the serenity tree.
