KCC Tubing Party
Smiles and laughter are sure to be found at Shanty Creek Resort’s multi-lane alpine tubing park. Located at Summit Mountain in Summit Village! Join KCC as we head up to Shanty Creek on January 24th. We have the tubing lanes reserved from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Since it is a half day for students at Kalkaska Public Schools we will meet at the church at 12:00PM for lunch and then travel to the resort. Annual Meeting
The KCC Annual Meeting is held each year on the 3rd Sunday of January. It is a formal meeting for KCC members. We’ll look back over 2018 and forward to 2019. Reports from the major ministries will be made available and the new budget for 2019 will be shared. Everyone is welcome to attend but only members can vote.
The Alternative
All youth 6th – 12th grade are invited to “The Alternative” – a day of food, games, prizes & fun at KCC!

Men’s Leadership Training 2nd Saturday of the month 9:00 am Green Room at KCC Requirements: Attend the meetings. Read the assignment where applicable. Kalkaska County Serenity Vigil
The vigil begins with fellowship and a brief prayer for the community followed by a viewing of the short film, “Faces of Addiction.” Produced by students at the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District’s Career-Tech Center, the movie features stories from Kalkaska County residents. The event also features local musician Damien Allen, an on-site grief counselor and resource information. The culmination of the Serenity Vigil is a short candlelit walk to a tree located on the Kalkaska Area Recreational Trail How COVID has affected us
