CIY SuperStart
CIY SuperStart is a high-energy weekend for all 4th and 5th grade students where they learn and grow in their relationships with friends, leaders and most importantly God. KCC will be taking kids to the Chicago, IL location of SuperStart. Registration deadline is Tuesday, March 13th. Scholarships are available for regular attenders of the Kalkaska Church of Christ children’s programs. Please contact the church office for more information.
Good Friday
Good Friday stations Please sign up for a specific time over the 4 hour period. We’ll start a new person every 2 minutes. Plan on about a half hour to walk through individually. We suggest 12 or 13 years or older to appreciate the walk-thru. We’ll have a place for children to play while their parents walk through.
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Inviting all KCC volunteers to an evening of good food, music, and surprises to show our appreciation for their gifts of time, talents, and energy!
First Impressions Training
First Impressions volunteers (Greeters, Ushers, PART Dept., and Information Station) are encouraged to attend this practical training on best practices to welcoming people to KCC. It goes way beyond opening doors and handing out bulletins.
WinSome Women Informational Meeting
There is an informational meeting after both services this Sunday, February 25th in the Green Room for all ladies interested in attending the WinSome Women Spring Retreat. WinSome Women hosts Christian retreats for women on beautiful Mackinac Island at Grand Hotel. WinSome Women is a Christian-based organization with an all-volunteer steering committee, presenting bi-annual retreats featuring award-winning speakers and music, together with worship and prayer. A night of laughter and comedy is just the thing to break up the winter doldrums in northern Michigan! Join us for an evening with comedian John Branyan. Super Bowl Party
Whether you watch the Super Bowl for the game or the commercials, we have a party for you! We’ll be showing Super Bowl LII on the big screen at KCC! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a great evening full of food, friends, and fun! Bring a pizza, snack food or drink to share.
