The Chosen has a new episode! To launch the Christmas season this December, The Chosen has created a special episode about the birth of Christ through the eyes of Mary and Joseph. Let’s Bake Cookies!
KCC Wired Youth GIRLS (grades 6-12), meet in the KCC kitchen on Sunday, December 12thfrom 12:30pm – 3:30pm. We’re going to bake yummy cookies that will be packaged and sold during the KCC Chosen Movie event later that evening. The proceeds of which will go back to the local community!
Children’s Christmas Program
Join us for a special Sunday morning featuring our elementary-age children sharing the Christmas story in the form of song and word. Bring the grandparents, aunts, and uncles, brother and sister! We’ll also live-stream the program on our YouTube and Facebook channels. The live-stream begins at 9:00 am and will continue with the Children’s program beginning about 10:00 am on December 12th.
8th annual Kalkaska County Serenity Vigil
You are invited to join us for refreshments, a brief presentation, prayer, and a candlelight walk to the Serenity Tree, as we come together to remember those individuals in our community we have lost to substance use disorders, those still struggling, and celebrate those in recovery. Please bring a non-breakable ornament to place on the serenity tree for each person you wish to remember. Everyone is welcome and community can make all the difference. Ladies Christmas Tea! Join us for tea and treats as we discover ways for “Squeezing Joy Into Christmas”. Sunday, December 5th from 2:00 – 5:00pm. Our guest speaker is Kristin Weber. Community Thanksgiving Service
Community Thanksgiving Service! Join KCC & other area churches on Sunday, November 21st starting at 6:30pm for the Community Thanksgiving Service. The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Coldsprings Community Church located at 532 South Cedar Street in Kalkaska. Join us for an evening of music, speaking & fellowship.
Youth Rake-a-Thon
On November 20th, from 12:30pm – 4:30pm the KCC WIRED YOUTH will be putting the Word into practice by serving our church family. ALL youth grades 6-12, are invited to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Come ready to rake and have fun! Register your youth today! Bring a rake (if you have one), gloves, something to drink, and a hardworking attitude!!
