Worship Minister Job Description
Report to: Senior Minister
Direct reports: Volunteers in the Worship area
Kalkaska Church of Christ is a restoration movement church located in the northwest corner of the lower peninsula of Michigan. We are seeking a male worship leader full-time to lead a congregation of 400. The position will include the following expectations:
- Lead the church in worship through music.
- Recruit potential band members and vocalists.
- Manage the worship team members by encouraging them, discipling them, and holding them accountable to rehearsals and quality worship leading.
- Train the worship team musically and spiritually.
- Organize the worship ministry so as to be operating efficiently and effectively.
- Raise up potential worship leaders.
- Lead another area of the church in your giftedness (i.e. Life Groups, Adult Discipleship, youth, family).
- Work alongside the Senior Minister to put together worship services.
- Lead a creative team in stage design.
- Manage the use of creative elements within the worship service.
