Big Idea: The gospel message breaks down before it builds up. Acts 24:1-9 The truth of the Gospel offends people as it breaks down their foundational beliefs. Acts 24:10-21 The foundational truth of the Gospel is that it doesn’t break down the law, it fulfills it. Acts 24:22-27 The foundation of the Gospel is righteousness, self-control, and preparing for Jesus’ return. People either love or hate that God is asking for faith and surrender.
