An Appalling Story
Luke 10:25-37 We are appalled by the Priest because of his job His job was mediator He needed to stay clean His people were relying on him We are appalled by the Levite because of his heritage Jews help Jews Levites were chosen by God because of their faithfulness to serve God We are appalled at both because they saw but did not respond It’s one thing to not look for or see a need It’s another to blatantly see How COVID has affected us

The secret to being content? Finding provision in Christ. The secret to God supplying all of our needs? Offering acceptable sacrifices. The secret to grace? Offering our lives to the only one who can offer grace. The content of your heart makes you content

We need to get along, because the world is watching. V. 2-3 As adults who are in Christ, is there anything we can’t get past? Sometimes a third party helps. Those outside of Christ look in to see if they fit. We need to rejoice in the Lord, because the world is watching. V. 4-7 Rejoice always Be reasonable Don’t be anxious Pray God will reward you by guarding your heart and mind We need to think about the good How COVID has affected us
